Job description

Reporting to the Director of Predictive Science, you will help identify where to play and unlock growth opportunities across Retail, Foodservice, and Ecommerce channels by translating Shopper and Operator insights into action. As a key member of the Demand Science team, you will support strategic planning, sales execution, and innovation with a customer-first mindset grounded in robust analysis. You will operate in a highly collaborative environment, frame ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches, and influence both internal and external stakeholders through compelling storytelling and thought leadership.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesPartner with Sales, Category Management, Brand, Research & Development, and Finance teams to provide a unified view of Shopper, Operator, and Consumer behavior across Retail, Foodservice, and Ecommerce.Identify, analyze, and communicate data-driven insights that uncover trends, gaps, and whitespace opportunities across the omni-channel landscape, including recommending strategic focus areas.Lead external, customer-facing presentations that reinforce Conagra's position as a thought leader and strategic partner.Advocate for key retailers and foodservice operators within the broader Demand Science team.Champion the voice of the customer and operator in innovation cycles to ensure their needs and behaviors inform portfolio and channel strategies.Define and manage a learning agenda aligned to business priorities, often initiating work without formal project briefs.Develop and distribute regular performance reviews, category scorecards, and business summaries to guide internal partners toward growth opportunities.Synthesize data from multiple sources (shipment, point-of-sale, distributor, operator, trend, panel) into clear recommendations that guide activation.Support continuous improvement of insights processes, deliverables, and tools, including piloting and assessing new capabilities as needed.Travel up to 20%.Ingredients Required for Your SuccessBachelor's degree required5+ years of experience in insights, analytics, or strategy roles within food, consumer packaged goods, or comparable industries.Experience presenting to retailers, foodservice operators, or commercial teams.Working knowledge of the United States Retail landscape and retailer dynamics; Foodservice experience is a plus.Experience with syndicated data sources such as Circana, Nielsen, Technomic, Datassential, and NPD, with strength in synthesizing complex datasets.Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative insights tools and processes.Experience managing third-party suppliers and ensuring alignment to key deliverables and outcomes.Experience framing strategic questions and setting priorities in ambiguous environments.Skill in influencing teams and customers through insights that unlock business value.Strength in connecting insights across channels, customers, and consumer behavior.Experience translating complex data into simple, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for complex functions and PowerPoint for presentations.Number of Days in Office: 3#LI-Hybrid#LI-PM1#LI-MSLCompensation Pay Range:$107,000-$156,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position.
