Market Research Manager
Pipeline Ownership | Strategic Prospecting | Deal Qualification
Salary: Starting at $75,000 + Incentive Plan (based on experience)
Role Overview
This is not a high-volume calling role. This is a pipeline ownership role for someone who can identify, qualify, and advance real revenue opportunities.
The Market Research Manager at TCI is responsible for building qualified, revenue-ready pipeline across Brokerage, Dedicated, Leasing, Rental, and Maintenance. You will drive top-of-funnel execution through targeted prospecting, structured discovery, and market intelligence.
Location: North Richland Hills, TX (On-site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Own
  • Own outbound execution against a defined ICP
  • Build and qualify pipeline that meets strict deal criteria

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute outbound prospecting aligned with TCI's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts across all business units
  • Schedule and confirm meetings with decision-makers and key influencers
  • Conduct structured discovery to validate business need, current providers, and decision processes
  • Maintain detailed and accurate CRM documentation for all activities and opportunities
  • Build and manage account intelligence including fleet size, growth signals, and competitive landscape
  • Progress opportunities from initial outreach through proposal readiness
  • Partner with Business Development Managers and Directors to support opportunity advancement
  • Participate in pipeline reviews and provide clear updates on opportunity status and next steps
  • Ensure all opportunities meet qualification standards prior to proposal stage
  • Utilize tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and CRM platforms to support prospecting efforts
  • Represent TCI's values of professionalism, accountability, and preparation in all interactions

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B prospecting, business development, or sales development
  • Experience conducting discovery conversations and qualifying opportunities
  • Ability to work on-site in North Richland Hills, TX, Monday-Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and commitment to process
  • Bachelor's degree preferred OR equivalent relevant experience
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or asset-based services
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Experience using Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar prospecting tools
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret market or operational data
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a structured sales process
