Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Inside Sales / Applications Support professional to support quoting, product selection, and customer interaction.

This is not a call center role — it is a technical, detail-oriented position working with real projects, real engineers, and high-value products and instrumentation.

You will play a key role in:

  • Turning project plans into accurate quotes

  • Supporting outside sales

  • Communicating with customers to ensure correct application of products

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate quotes using QuoteWerks

  • Review project plans, specs, and schedules

  • Assist with product selection and application support

  • Communicate with engineers, contractors, and customers

  • Manage opportunities and pipeline in Zoho CRM

  • Follow up on quotes to help drive conversion to orders

  • Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors as needed

  • Maintain high level of accuracy, organization, and responsiveness

Ideal Background (Strongly Preferred)

  • HVAC distributor inside sales

  • Mechanical engineering degree or experience with an ME firm

  • Mechanical contractor estimating

  • Manufacturer’s rep firm experience

  • Technical B2B inside sales (industrial, mechanical, or controls)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inside sales, estimating, or technical support experience

  • Ability to read or learn to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organization

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Comfortable learning technical products and systems

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
