Account Manager / Inside Sales (Manufacturing)

Rochester Hills, MI (Onsite)

Full-Time

$65,000 – $85,000 + Bonus

Join a Growing Manufacturing Team

We’re looking for a driven, technically minded Account Manager / Inside Sales professional with experience in manufacturing or industrial sales to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, enjoys managing customer relationships, and knows how to turn RFQs into booked business.

You’ll work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, and Production, playing a key role in moving opportunities from quote → order → delivery.

What You’ll Do

·         Develop and pursue new sales opportunities

·         Manage existing customer accounts and grow relationships

·         Handle RFQs from intake through quotation and follow-up

·         Prepare competitive quotes with engineering/estimating teams

·         Track and convert sales opportunities into orders

·         Maintain accurate data in CRM & ERP systems

·         Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met

·         Manage order entry and project tracking

·         Provide post-sale support and follow-up

·         Support pipeline tracking and sales reporting

·         Occasionally travel to customer sites

✅ What We’re Looking For

·         3+ years of inside sales or account management experience

·         Background in manufacturing, industrial, or technical sales

·         Experience with RFQs, quoting, and closing business

·         Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills

·         Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical teams

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office

·         Experience with CRM/ERP systems (preferred)

·         Experience in tubing or fluid handling systems (a plus)
