Lowder Sales, Inc., a family-owned independent manufacturers’ representative agency serving the plumbing and mechanical industries since 1970, is seeking a full-time Inside Sales Representative to support our growing team. This role is key to our operations, helping drive sales growth, enhance customer relationships, and supporting contractors, distributors, and manufacturer partners across our Midwest territory.

We proudly represent industry-leading product lines throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Western Pennsylvania, and are known for our technical expertise, responsiveness, and strong customer relationships.

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-5 years inside sales or account management experience; building materials, plumbing, or construction familiarity preferred
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), critical for our Dynamics-based CRM workflows
  • Valid Driver’s License; willingness to travel occasionally for training, events, or manufacturer visits
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable presenting information to customers, internal leadership, and manufacturer partners

Our Inside Sales Representative will:

  • Serve as a primary contact for contractors, distributors, and wholesalers, providing solutions, product support, and responsive service
  • Collaborate with the outside sales team to support territory goals and key initiatives
  • Participate in manufacturing training, customer events, and marketing activities
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, quotes, and activities within our Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Monitor product updates, market changes, and competitive activity
  • Provide regular reports, forecasts, and updates to management and manufacturer partners
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support agency operations
