Director, Inside Sales

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Director, Inside Sales to join our sales team in Tulsa, OK. The Director of Inside Sales is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing inside sales organization that drives revenue growth, customer experience, and market expansion across the construction, engineering, and building products sectors. This role provides strategic leadership to four sales managers overseeing a team of 35+ professionals and is accountable for sales execution, forecasting accuracy, process optimization, and talent development. The Director partners closely with field sales, engineering, operations, manufacturing, marketing, and other internal teams to deliver profitable growth while ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and execute inside sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities within construction and engineering-related industries.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to drive commercial initiatives and strategic priorities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the inside sales managers.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance reviews, succession planning, and leadership development activities.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of working days as is needed.

The skills and experience you need:

  • Education: Required: Bachelor's degree or related work experience. Preferred: Master's degree
  • Required Experience: Proven track record of sales leadership experience while working across multiple layers of the organization. Demonstrated success leading teams of sales professionals and utilizing data to drive decisions and process improvements. Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Dynamics 365, HubSpot, or similar systems. Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and analytical capabilities. Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and operational improvements. Demonstrated experience in recruiting, on-boarding, coaching and development of team members toward promotion or exit from the organization. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strongly preferred: Experience within construction, building products, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, contractor, architectural, perimeter security, or related industries.
