We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Lead to support and lead a team in areas such as electro-mechanical assembly, test, material handling, pack, and ship. The Logistics Lead is a hands-on process leader responsible for coordinating daily production activities, troubleshooting process issues, and driving continuous improvement within their area of responsibility.

- Act as the primary point of contact for real-time process issues; troubleshoot and escalate when necessary.
- Plan, assign, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals and schedule adherence, ensuring effective shift handoffs and end-of-shift reporting.
- Provide direct coaching and training to team members, contributing to onboarding and ongoing skills development

Develop and implement training plans within your department.
- Maintain and update training documents and visual work instructions; validate SOP effectiveness and drive updates when deviations are identified.
- Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives (e.g., 6S, safety, Kaizen), using data collection and root cause analysis to drive results.
- Review team output for quality and adherence to production specifications; ensure metrics are met across individual and team performance.
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings and ensure alignment with cross-functional teams to support shift readiness and performance.
- Foster a culture of safety by modeling best practices, escalating hazards, and ensuring compliance with site safety protocols.
- Support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects within the manufacturing team.
A day in the life
As an Inbound & Outbound Logistics Production Lead at Amazon Robotics, you'll start your day by reviewing material flow schedules, inventory positions, and shipping/receiving priorities. You'll lead morning stand-ups with your team, coordinating with Production Control Analysts to align daily material movement strategies and reviewing any critical handoffs from second shift.
Throughout your day, you'll be actively managing the pulse of logistics operations - from overseeing receiving workflows to coordinating outbound shipments. You'll interface with Assembly and Certification & Repairs leads to ensure smooth material flow, troubleshoot any supply chain disruptions, and maintain optimal inventory levels

You'll work closely with your Industrial Engineer on process improvements and with your Continuous Improvement Leader on Kaizen initiatives.
Your expertise in logistics processes makes you the go-to person for complex material flow challenges. You'll spend time coaching team members on best practices, conducting gemba walks to identify improvement opportunities, and ensuring all safety and quality standards are exceeded.
If you are not sure that every qualification on the list above describes you exactly, we'd still love to hear from you. At Amazon, we value people with unique backgrounds, experiences, and skillsets
