Job Description About the Role: The Immigration Program Manager serves as a dedicated resource supporting a high-volume corporate immigration program for a single client. This individual will function as a client resource, working closely with the client's employees, managers, HR, Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility, and other key stakeholders while being based out of Fragomen's Los Angeles office. Acting as the primary liaison between employees, managers, HR stakeholders, Talent Acquisition teams, Global Mobility, and immigration counsel, this role is responsible for providing day-to-day immigration guidance, coordinating case strategy and immigration processes, managing case progression, facilitating stakeholder communications, and ensuring the successful delivery of immigration services and a seamless employee experience throughout the immigration lifecycle. The ideal candidate possesses strong employment-based immigration knowledge, exceptional client service skills, and the ability to independently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role combines immigration expertise, program management, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and process improvement responsibilities, while serving as a dedicated strategic partner to a single client account. How will you make a difference as an Immigration Program Manager at Fragomen? Immigration Case Coordination & Program Support Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, managers, recruiters, HR partners, and Global Mobility regarding employment-based immigration matters. Conduct immigration intake and preliminary assessments to identify appropriate visa categories and immigration pathways. Coordinate the collection, review, and organization of information and supporting documentation required for immigration case initiation. Work closely with immigration counsel and case teams to facilitate timely preparation and filing of petitions and applications. Monitor active immigration matters and proactively follow up with stakeholders to obtain required information and ensure cases progress without delay. Track critical immigration milestones, expiration dates, filing deadlines, and status changes, escalating issues as appropriate. Coordinate communications related to travel guidance, immigration process requirements, timelines, and next steps. Stakeholder Management & Employee Support Provide high-touch support to foreign national employees, managers, recruiters, and HR stakeholders throughout the immigration process. Respond to immigration-related inquiries and direct complex matters to the appropriate legal or program resources. Facilitate meetings and consultations involving employees, managers, Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility, and immigration counsel. Assist stakeholders in understanding immigration processes, case status updates, documentation requirements, and government timelines. Support onboarding and immigration strategy discussions for new hires requiring sponsorship. Reporting, Monitoring & Compliance Maintain accurate immigration records and case information within case management and tracking systems. Generate recurring and ad hoc reports related to case status, upcoming expirations, program metrics, and immigration population trends. Monitor employee changes including job title changes, worksite relocations, remote work arrangements, compensation changes, and terminations for potential immigration impact. Assist with compliance-related activities and escalation of immigration risk issues. Ensure adherence to internal data privacy, confidentiality, and document management requirements. Program Management & Continuous Improvement Support development and maintenance of immigration resources, FAQs, process guides, employee communications, and training materials. Draft immigration alerts, travel advisories, program announcements, and other stakeholder communications. Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, standardize processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and increase operational efficiency. Participate in regular meetings with internal stakeholders and immigration counsel to review program performance, escalations, and strategic initiatives. Assist with implementation of new immigration policies, regulatory updates, and process changes. Immigration Knowledge & Advisory Support Maintain working knowledge of U.S. employment-based immigration programs including H-1B, H-1B Cap, L-1, TN, E-3, F-1 STEM OPT, PERM, I-140, and Adjustment of Status processes. Stay informed regarding immigration policy developments and identify potential impacts to employees and the immigration program. Support issue spotting, risk identification, and escalation of complex immigration scenarios. Partner with immigration counsel to communicate regulatory changes and recommended actions to stakeholders. Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience Minimum 8-10 years of employment-based business immigration experience supporting U.S. employment-based immigration programs, corporate mobility programs, or immigration law firm operations. Significant experience advising corporate clients and managing complex immigration programs. Demonstrated expertise across a broad range of U.S. immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1, TN, E visas, O-1, PERM labor certifications, immigrant visa petitions, adjustment of status applications, and work authorization strategies. Proven ability to serve as a trusted advisor to HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and business stakeholders. Experience coordinating high-volume immigration programs, case assignments, reporting, escalations, and operational performance metrics. Strong understanding of immigration compliance requirements, workforce planning considerations, and immigration program administration. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization. Advanced proficiency with immigration case management systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Ability to independently prioritize competing demands and thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Strong relationship management skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, drive consensus, and deliver exceptional client service. Compensation The salary range for this role reflects a variety of factors considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, work location, work arrangement, licensure and certifications, and applicable laws. Placement within the range will vary based on these factors, and compensation decisions are made to ensure internal equity and alignment with market data. A reasonable and good-faith estimate of the current salary range for individuals able to work a hybrid schedule in the office locally is: $109,000.00 - $130,000.00 You may also be eligible to take advantage of our benefits offering, 401K, and paid time off plans.
