Job description

Position: Oracle EDM / DRM Consultant

Location: Remote

Duration: Long term contract

Note: Looking for Permanent / Visa Independent Consultants

Overall experience 15+ years

Role Overview

Person will be responsible for the solutioning of Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud (EDM), including design, configurations, demo of key functionalities to clients, overall implementation, support, and handover.

Will provide expertise in implementing industry best practices and customizing the EDM application as per client requirements to enable business processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and apply principles and best practices of metadata management.
  • Interact with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Business Process Owners, and IT stakeholders across geographies to:
    • Analyze existing (As-Is) processes
    • Design To-Be process flows as per business requirements
  • Provide design solutions and implement them effectively.
  • Guide functional and technical consultants in implementing solutions.
  • Lead system integrations based on business needs.
  • Support SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and production migrations.
  • Drive business workshops, design sessions, and create design decision documents.
  • Manage both functional and technical discussions with clients.

Required Experience

  • Hands-on experience in EDM is a must.
  • Overall 14+ years of experience in Design, Modeling, Implementation, Development, Upgrade, and Maintenance of EPM using DRM/EDM.
  • At least 3 end-to-end EDM implementations, including DRM to EDM migrations.
  • Experience managing EDM hierarchies and centralized master data repositories.
  • Experience creating mappings for downstream applications and enabling data governance.
  • Experience integrating EDM with target applications such as:
    • Fusion GL
    • EPBCS
    • FCCS
    • On-Prem EBS
    • Universal systems
  • Ability to create custom integration solutions with non-ERP/EPM applications.
  • Experience with:
    • Derived properties and validations in EDM
    • EDM security and access provisioning
    • Multi-level governance framework setup
    • Migration of artifacts across environments
    • Automation and integrations using EPMAutomate
  • Ability to analyze, investigate, and provide enhancement solutions.

Good to Have DRM Skills

  • Experience managing DRM versions, hierarchies/nodes.
  • Creating custom property definitions and property categories.
  • Experience in:
    • Imports, Exports, and Blenders
    • Updating metadata using Action Scripts
  • Strong knowledge of Hyperion DRG workflows.
  • Integration of DRM with downstream applications like:
    • Hyperion Planning / Essbase
    • HFM
  • Automation using batch scripting.
  • Knowledge of FDMEE or other Hyperion tools is a plus.

  • EDM Certified Professional is an added advantage.
