Summary/Objective

The HR Generalist is a self-managed force who owns and drives comprehensive HR initiatives across our manufacturing operations. As a proactive floor influencer, you will lead talent acquisition, elevate employee relations, and master compliance entirely on your own initiative. We need a high-energy go-getter who thrives in the heart of production, seamlessly balancing administrative excellence with bold, forward-thinking execution to accelerate workflows and build a high-performance culture.

Essential Functions

  • Culture & Advocacy: Acts as a brand ambassador for the company's mission, vision, and values. Leads initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and a positive organizational climate.
  • Talent Acquisition: Supports in executing the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, candidate assessment, and seamless onboarding. Builds a robust talent pipeline by representing the company at industry and community events.
  • Employee Relations: Serves as a trusted advisor to staff at the operational level. Manages employee relations matters through objective investigations, conflict resolution, and comprehensive documentation to mitigate risk.
  • Process Improvement: Partners with frontline leadership to create and provide solutions that elevate the employee experience that improves operations.
  • Policy & Compliance: Ensures all HR data is accurate and programs are aligned and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while keeping management teams up to date.
  • Lifecycle Management: Manages the entire employee lifecycle-from integration to offboarding-ensuring that each stage is supported by seamless employee experiences.
  • Organizational Health: Regularly assesses the "pulse" of the workforce through direct feedback loops to drive engagement strategies and maintain high morale.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, on-site position.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Development, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Previous experience as an HR Generalist within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite products.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or comparable HRIS platforms.
  • Experience with ADP payroll/HR systems is a significant plus.
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement environments is highly desirable.
  • Professional certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with high integrity.
  • Proven judgment in assessing, de-escalating, and resolving personnel issues.
  • Ability to project a professional image and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with a proactive, self-starting work ethic.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to thrive and prioritize in a high-speed environment.
