Position Overview

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Service Manager based in Gofley, TX, responsible for managing the repair, maintenance, and preparation of heavy equipment for rental and sales. The role involves responding to customer service inquiries, dispatching field service technicians, and overseeing shop operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and diagnose equipment issues.
  • Dispatch field service technicians to address onsite repairs.
  • Supervise and lead the service team, ensuring effective workload distribution.
  • Create and manage work orders for all service activities.
  • Coordinate invoicing for parts and services rendered.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and equipment readiness.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum 10 years of mechanical experience in the heavy construction equipment or related industry.
  • Previous experience with pipeline equipment is preferred.
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or management role within a service shop or similar environment.
  • Proficiency with PC applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
