Job description

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Equipment Rental Manager & Handyman to oversee the daily operations of our equipment rental services while assisting with general maintenance and repair needs. This position requires someone who is comfortable working with heavy-duty equipment, interacting with customers, and handling a variety of hands-on tasks.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage equipment rentals, including scheduling pickups and deliveries.
  • Pick up and deliver heavy-duty equipment to customer locations and job sites.
  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload rental equipment.
  • Perform equipment inspections before and after each rental.
  • Keep rental equipment clean, maintained, and ready for use.
  • Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
  • Explain basic equipment operation and safety procedures to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of rentals, equipment condition, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Assist customers with rental questions and equipment needs.
  • Perform general handyman work, including minor repairs, maintenance, assembly, and property upkeep.
  • Maintain an organized equipment yard, shop, and storage areas.
  • Report equipment damage or major mechanical issues promptly.
  • Follow all company and transportation safety procedures.
