We currently have an opportunity for a Human Resources Representative at our Manufacturing Facility in Huntersville, NC.


The Human Resources Representative provides operational and employee relations support that enables the consistent execution of human resources programs across a manufacturing facility. This position partners with leaders and employees to deliver responsive guidance on employee relations, staffing, policy administration, compliance, and workforce support while promoting a positive employee experience. The role influences day-to-day workforce decisions by ensuring employment practices are applied consistently, employment actions comply with applicable laws and company policies, and people-related issues are resolved effectively. Working collaboratively across operations and human resources, the Representative helps maintain organizational effectiveness through accurate administration, timely communication, and proactive problem solving. This position exercises independent judgment within established policies, escalates complex issues as appropriate, and contributes to a compliant, engaged, and productive workplace that supports operational performance and business objectives.

Employee Relations & Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary human resources contact for assigned employee populations by providing guidance on policies, workplace concerns, and employment practices.
  • Partner with managers to resolve employee relations matters through coaching, consultation, and consistent application of company policies.
  • Conduct workplace investigations, document findings, and recommend appropriate actions to Human Resources leadership.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, leaves of absence, compensation, work schedules, transfers, promotions, and other employment-related matters.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Coordinate recruiting and hiring activities to support staffing requirements and workforce continuity.
  • Partner with operational leaders to identify hiring needs and facilitate timely recruitment and onboarding activities.
  • Ensure employment decisions are administered consistently and comply with applicable employment laws and company policies.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing responses to unemployment claims, government agency inquiries, and employment-related investigations.
  • Communicate changes to human resources policies, programs, and employee benefit plans.
  • Support food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements by complying with applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF), and organizational standards where applicable.

Human Resources Operations

  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate employee records that support business operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate human resources administrative processes while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Support implementation of human resources initiatives that improve operational efficiency and employee engagement.

Education/Experience

 

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
  • 2 years of progressive human resources experience.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting employee relations and human resources operations in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

  • Strong employee relations, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
