Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Sales Representative makes sales calls on assigned groups of customers via telephone, e-mail, and fax to establish and qualify clients/prospects. Establishes, maintains, and expands client lists and keeps daily record of calls and information requests sent. Takes orders, closes sales, and prepares appropriate documentation. In addition, responsible for revenue budget achievement, meeting client quotas, reaching account goals on a monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis, expanding sales, and ensures positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Expand Sales

  • Make Outbound and Incoming calls to achieve sales and call goals
  • Continue to add clients purchased by Customer
  • Send email blast and mail out per Client requirements
  • Expand customer base and customer distribution
  • Receive and expedite all new business calls from CDM's, BDM's, and outside sources

Revenue Budget Achievement

  • Assist Inside Sales Manager in achieving Company income and expense budgets by ensuring all marketing strategies are implemented
  • Increase sales through efficient management of promotional spending within client guidelines

Client Quota Achievement

  • Meet or exceed clients' goals for sales, distribution, and promotional volume by working with all related departments for assigned customer
  • Utilize appropriate sales materials and data to deliver fact based solutions to customers

Existing SKU Achievement

  • Ensure incremental sales through distribution of new products and maintenance of existing SKU's

Sales Growth and Reporting

  • Achieve incremental growth by pursuing volume-producing merchandising at assigned customer account
  • Provide monthly business updates

Process Development

  • Work with Inside Sales Manager to identify process/system enhancement for tracking, call efficiency, reporting, and any other identified improvement areas

Miscellaneous

  • Provide necessary documentation to BAA to ensure all new customers are set up in GenWeb
  • Work with BDM and Customers to determine Trade Show and special programs participation
  • Assist with set-up, sell, and dismantle if attending Trade Shows
  • Maintain distribution grid, contract log, and other trackers as requested
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
