Job description

Human Resources Operations Manager

We're looking for a hands-on Human Resources Operations Manager to manage core HR functions. This role reports to the Senior HR Manager and owns payroll, benefits, and HRIS — keeping everything running accurately and compliantly for our hourly and salaried workforce.

What You'll Be Doing

Payroll

  • Run bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll through ADP Workforce Now for both hourly and salaried employees
  • Handle time and attendance, overtime, shift differentials, and bonuses
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and partner with Finance on accounting, garnishments, and tax matters

Benefits

  • Own day-to-day administration of health, retirement, PTO, and other benefit programs
  • Lead new hire orientations and annual open enrollment
  • Manage COBRA, benefit changes, and invoice reconciliation with the Finance team
  • Ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, and Washington paid sick leave laws

HRIS & Reporting

  • Pull regular and ad-hoc reports on headcount, turnover, and compensation
  • Audit data regularly and manage system updates or new module rollouts

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4–6 years of HR experience, including at least 2 in a generalist or operations role
  • Hands-on ADP Workforce Now payroll experience — this is a must
  • Solid benefits administration and leave management background
  • Familiarity with Washington state employment law (required)
  • Manufacturing or food processing experience a plus
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
