  • Serve as the primary internal contact for the outsourced HR consultant.
  • Monitor vendor and consultant performance, service levels, and deliverables.
  • Ensure HR processes and SOPs are consistently followed.
  • Monitor vendors supporting payroll, benefits, 401(k), and other HR services.

  • Maintain and update HR SOPs and process documentation.
  • Support employee communications related to HR processes and Paylocity.

Reporting & Leadership Support

  • Prepare regular reports on HR operations, HRIS implementation, vendor performance, and key risks.
  • Track HR metrics such as turnover, open positions, compliance issues, and employee relations matters.
  • Provide leadership with visibility into HR service quality and areas for improvement.
  • Recommend improvements to HR processes, vendor performance, and HRIS functionality.

Who we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in HR operations, operations management, vendor management, or project coordination.
  • Experience with HRIS implementation or other software/system implementations strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of core HR processes and terminology.
  • Experience managing external vendors, consultants, or service providers.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience working with senior leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Ability to identify problems, coordinate solutions, and keep projects moving forward.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

What Success Looks Like

  • Paylocity is implemented successfully and HR processes are updated accordingly.
  • HR vendors and consultants consistently meet service expectations.
  • HR issues are identified and resolved quickly.
  • Leadership receives accurate, timely reporting on HR operations.
  • Employees receive consistent and well-coordinated HR support.
  • HR processes and SOPs continue to improve as the organization and systems evolve.
