About the Job:
The Associate Manager, Global Learning & Development is an integral member of Yum!'s Global Learning & Development Center of Excellence, responsible for helping translate enterprise learning strategy into an exceptional experience for employees and leaders across assigned brands and markets. In this this role you will serve as a trusted L&D partner to People & Culture and business leaders, connecting business and talent needs to the right development solutions while independently leading defined learning programs and improving how those experiences are delivered. As the Associate Manager will bring strong execution, sound judgment, and a consultative mindset to a fast-moving, global environment.
You will be required to attend the Irvine, CA office three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday)
Salary Range:
$109,400-$128,600 + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary L&D partner for assigned brands and business groups, building strong relationships with P&C partners and leaders, understanding business and talent priorities, and connecting those needs to relevant enterprise learning solutions and resources.
  • Lead the delivery of assigned enterprise learning programs or workstreams from planning through sustainment, partnering across Design, L&D, P&C and other stakeholders to clarify needs, surface risks, recommend approaches, and keep work moving with limited day-to-day direction.
  • Translate business and customer insight into actionable recommendations, gathering feedback across markets and stakeholder groups, identifying common themes versus one-off requests, and bringing a broader enterprise and global perspective back to the COE.
  • Improve the processes, tools and ways of working used to deliver learning, identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize and scale program delivery while partnering with the broader team on reusable playbooks, communications, resources and technology-enabled solutions.
  • Drive launch readiness and strong partner experiences for learning initiatives, ensuring audiences, timing, roles, communications, resources and follow-through are clear and proactively addressing issues or escalating decisions when broader alignment is required.
  • Support effective learning experiences across virtual and in-person formats, including facilitation where appropriate, partnership with facilitators or vendors, and use of learning technology and digital tools to increase access, consistency and efficiency.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business or a related field, and/or equivalent relevant professional experience; typically, 5+ years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing complex learning, talent, HR or organizational programs/projects, preferably within a large, global or matrixed organization.
  • Experience partnering directly with HR/P&C and business stakeholders to understand needs, make recommendations and support implementation of enterprise programs or solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience improving processes, tools or ways of working through project management, process improvement, technology adoption or other scalable solutions.
  • Experience using enterprise workplace and learning technologies such as Microsoft Teams, project-management platforms, Learning Management Systems and/or HRIS platforms; experience supporting or facilitating instructor-led learning is strongly preferred.
