Job description

Job Summary:
As the world's largest privately held, family-owned insurance broker, enjoying successive years of double-digit growth - continually out pacing the competition.
People are, and always will be, at the epicenter of Lockton's success. We have an incredibly strong, genuinely caring culture - with high levels of engagement & an unwavering sense of duty to our clients. We operate in service of one another & it works. We're being tasked with getting even better - scaling the business, without sacrificing the culture. Setting the industry standard on how we cultivate talent & leadership, whilst simultaneously continuing to raise the bar on quality.
A key milestone on this journey has been the globalization of the People Function and with it the creation of an Organizational Development (OD) capability, which is also a reframe for Lockton. Historically, the organization has had more of a traditional L&D focus. We're broadening that remit strategically, to join the dots for the business, between Talent, Leadership & Culture - globally. Bringing a stronger commercial lens to how we grow & develop human capital - increasing the velocity at which we are able to do so.
This role sits at the very heart of that model, as we mature as a Global People function, establish ourselves as an OD Team, to grow & develop our Lockton Associates. Operating as a strategic business partner, consulting with the business to develop & deliver Organizational Development strategies, that deliver measurable impact and drive strong business results.
Culture at Lockton plays a pivotal part in both the success of the company but also THE reason people choose to stay - there's long tenure & strong commitment from an Associate perspective. Associates are highly engaged, eager to learn, ambitious & driven.
The Role
Reporting to the US Head of Organizational Development, this role takes a lead position in consulting with the business to diagnose solutions to optimize the organizations greatest asset - our human capital, at every stage of their lifecycle with the company.
Leading the strategic thinking as well as the tactical delivery of Global OD initiatives. This role will lead end to end design, delivery & evaluation of programmatic solutions that grow & develop Associates at Lockton. Working in partnership with the business, HRBPs, the Talent Development Network (in business human capital support) & the Global OD team.
An in-house consultant on the spectrum of Organizational Development - Talent, Leadership & Culture. Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Change Leadership, Talent Strategy, Career Management, Leadership Capability and Learning & Development.
Delivering value to the business with impactful programming - measurable, scalable & relevant. Supporting the evolution of Lockton both as it scales as a business & evolves as a culture. A thought partner to the business, HRBPs & HRLT. Able to foster strong business partnerships with an array of different stakeholders, at every level in the organization. Leading strategic, commercial, collaborative, solution orientated conversations - working with and through other people.
A positive, proactive role model for the Global OD Team, the People function & the organization. A force for good in an effort to unlock every part of our organizational potential. A motivated player coach - bringing leadership to the conversation, without always being the most senior person at the table.
Requirements:
• Leads with purpose, maturity & pragmatism - self-aware, role model leader & team player
• Strong OD experience 15yrs+ (design, delivery & evaluation) - demonstratable impact & value
• Successful trajectory as an (internal preferred), consultant role - client obsessed, with gravitas, clear communication & strong delivery
• Experience in a bigger global commercial organization - highly matrixed environment preferred
• Financial or Professional Services and or Insurance industry experience preferred
• Autonomous operator - able to work things out & get stuff done at pace
