Position Summary

RevOne Companies is seeking a talented UX Designer & React Developer to join our growing in-house software development team. This role is designed for a unique individual who bridges the gap between high-level user experience design and robust front-end engineering. You will be responsible for not only envisioning how our applications should look and feel but also building the scalable React architecture that powers them.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of design psychology and the technical expertise to create reusable component libraries that ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across our entire company platform


Essential Duties of the Position

  • Design System Leadership: Lead the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive, company-wide React component library to ensure brand and functional consistency.
  • End-to-End UX/UI: Research, design, and prototype user interfaces using wireframes and high-fidelity mockups, incorporating feedback from stakeholders into final production code.
  • React Architecture: Build and optimize responsive, performant React applications using modern hooks, state management, and industry best practices.
  • Visual Excellence: Apply advanced design principles-including color theory, typography, spacing, and layout design-to create intuitive and engaging interfaces.
  • Gamification & Engagement: Implement gamification strategies and interactive elements to improve user retention and workflow efficiency.
  • Standardization: Audit and inventory existing graphical experiences to identify opportunities for improvement and modernization.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product management and the development team to translate complex business requirements into seamless digital journeys.
  • Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for the component library and design guidelines to support other developers across the organization.

Requirements

Requirements of the Position

  • Portfolio Required: A link to an interface design portfolio or shared samples of previous React projects is mandatory.
  • Experience: 3+ years of applicable experience in UX/UI design and front-end development.
  • Frontend Mastery: Expert proficiency in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Design Fundamentals: Strong command of design tools (such as Figma or Adobe XD) and a deep understanding of layout, hierarchy, and color theory.
  • Component Architecture: Proven experience building modular, reusable UI components and shared libraries.
  • Modern Web Standards: Deep knowledge of CSS/SCSS (including CSS-in-JS or Tailwind), HTML5, and responsive design techniques.
  • Testing & Quality: Experience with unit and user acceptance testing for front-end interfaces to ensure a bug-free user experience.

The following items are a plus:

  • Experience with Figma-to-Code workflows.
  • Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) standards.
  • Familiarity with React-based frameworks like Next.js or Vite.
  • Experience in industries such as medical billing, collections, or payment processing.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Monday.com

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
