Overview
The Associate Manager, Loyalty Engagement is responsible for enhancing member engagement and loyalty program value through rewards, redemption experiences, and engagement initiatives. This role supports the strategy and execution of the redemption center, including reward assortment, gamification, and sweepstakes programs, while balancing member experience with business and financial objectives. Partnering closely with Loyalty Operations, Marketing, Analytics, Creative, and external vendors, this position helps deliver a seamless and engaging loyalty experience.

Responsibilities

Member Engagement & Rewards Strategy

  • Support strategies that increase member engagement and encourage active use of loyalty program benefits
  • Identify opportunities to improve reward discovery, relevance, and redemption behavior
  • Partner with Loyalty Marketing and CRM teams to align engagement messaging with loyalty offers, games, and sweepstakes

Redemption Center Management

  • Execute redemption center strategies and maintain a balanced, engaging reward assortment
  • Manage reward mix across categories to support member satisfaction and business objectives
  • Monitor redemption trends and member behavior to identify optimization opportunities
  • Ensure point values and reward structures align with program economics and financial targets

Financial & Program Optimization

  • Track redemption performance metrics, including cost efficiency and category mix
  • Partner with Analytics and Finance teams to evaluate redemption economics and recommend improvements
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial performance while maintaining a strong member experience

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution

  • Partner with Loyalty Operations to support reward setup, maintenance, and operational execution
  • Collaborate with Creative teams on merchandising, reward presentation, and promotional assets
  • Serve as a liaison between engagement strategy and day-to-day program execution

Gamification & Sweepstakes

  • Support management of gamification and sweepstakes initiatives in partnership with external vendors
  • Coordinate campaign timing, merchandising, and communication for games and promotional experiences
  • Partner with Loyalty Operations and Legal teams to support sweepstakes setup, approvals, and compliance requirements
  • Ensure promotions and engagement mechanics are clearly communicated and easy for members to understand

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in loyalty, CRM, promotions, merchandising, or customer engagement
  • Experience supporting rewards programs, promotional offers, or member engagement initiatives
  • Strong understanding of loyalty programs, points-based rewards, or customer engagement strategies
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to balance customer value and business performance
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Preferred

  • Experience with loyalty platforms, redemption systems, or gamification vendors
