Position Summary

Tavernonna is seeking an experienced Full-Time Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role plays an essential part in executing our menu with precision, consistency, and efficiency. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craft, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and is committed to maintaining the high standards our guests expect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Tavernonna recipes and quality standards
  • Execute daily prep work including sauces, vegetables, proteins, and house-made pasta components
  • Ensure all dishes are plated and presented consistently and accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout each shift
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures
  • Work collaboratively with chefs and team members to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Monitor product quality and communicate any shortages or concerns to kitchen leadership
  • Assist with inventory organization and proper storage of ingredients
  • Support kitchen opening and closing duties as needed
  • Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen culture


Requirements:

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of line cook or restaurant kitchen experience required
  • Experience in scratch kitchens or Italian cuisine preferred
