Job description

Senior Marketing Manager, Integrated Campaigns & Product Marketing

Location: Southern California, Irvine (Hybrid/On-site)
Employment: Full-time
Experience: 6–9+ years B2B SaaS marketing
Team: Marketing
Reports to: Managing Director

About the Role

In this role, you will define marketing strategy and set direction for how our product is understood in the market. You will own narrative, sequencing, and prioritization, while working with agencies as execution partners—not strategy owners. Your decisions will be grounded in buyer reality and sales insight, with a deliberate focus on account-based marketing (ABM), persona-specific motions, and depth of engagement over volume.

You will design and orchestrate integrated campaigns that guide buyers through complex SaaS decisions, spending as much time deciding what not to do as what to execute in order to build real buying confidence.

You will also build and scale customer advocacy as a core growth lever—turning customer outcomes into proof, stories, and influence that accelerate pipeline, increase trust, and strengthen long-term retention.

Key Responsibilities

Omni-Channel Campaign Strategy & Orchestration (Primary Focus)

Design and lead integrated, account-aware (ABM) campaigns spanning:

  • Website landing pages
  • Organic and paid LinkedIn content
  • Outbound and nurture email sequences
  • Webinars and virtual events
  • Translate product capabilities, roadmap themes, and market insight into cohesive campaign narratives built for specific buying committees and target accounts.
  • Define campaign goals, messaging frameworks, sequencing, and success metrics tied to account engagement and pipeline progression.
  • Brief and direct agencies, freelancers, and internal stakeholders to execute against a unified ABM campaign strategy.
  • Ensure message consistency, buyer relevance, and momentum across all touchpoints.

ABM Strategy & Target Account Engagement (Elevated Focus)

  • Partner with Sales and Leadership to identify and prioritize target accounts, buying committees, and persona-level engagement needs.
  • Build campaigns designed to create multi-threaded engagement across product, portfolio, and executive stakeholders.
  • Develop account-specific messaging angles, plays, and sequences that move accounts from awareness → confidence → action.
  • Measure success based on account momentum, intent signals, meeting creation, pipeline influence, and deal acceleration.

Customer Advocacy & Proof (New Core Responsibility)

  • Build and scale a customer advocacy engine that turns customer success into market credibility.
  • Develop customer proof assets such as:
    • Testimonials and quotes
    • Case studies and success stories
    • Reference programs (sales-ready customer references)
    • Customer spotlights, webinars, and co-marketing
    • Peer proof for targeted ABM accounts
  • Partner with Customer Success to identify advocacy-ready customers and create repeatable processes for capturing outcomes and stories.
  • Use advocacy to strengthen campaigns, improve conversion, and support sales confidence in late-stage deals.

Quarterly Planning & Strategic Alignment

  • Participate in quarterly planning with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership.
  • Propose ABM campaign themes aligned to roadmap milestones and business priorities.
  • Present marketing strategy, results, learnings, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Continuously refine focus based on buyer response, sales feedback, and customer insight.

Analytics & Decision-Making

  • Own campaign-level performance analysis across channels.
  • Track engagement depth, target-account momentum, buying group coverage, and pipeline influencenot volume alone.
  • Use insight to refine sequencing, messaging, and future investments.

Product & Market Understanding

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Gocious platform, customer use cases, and buying committees.
  • Partner with Product to translate roadmap updates into customer-facing narratives.
  • Shape positioning and messaging for product managers, portfolio managers, and executive decision-makers.
  • Provide market insight, buyer feedback, and customer proof points into quarterly planning and product discussions.

Execution Oversight & Quality Control

  • Oversee day-to-day marketing operations without becoming task-bound.
  • Review and guide content, landing pages, and campaign assets for clarity, relevance, quality, and ABM alignment.
  • Step in hands-on when necessary, but primarily operate as architect, editor, and orchestrator.

Webinars & Events

  • Design webinars as part of integrated ABM campaigns, not standalone tactics.
  • Select topics, coordinate speakers (including customers when appropriate), define promotion strategy, and guide follow-up motions.
  • Evaluate and select industry events based on account relevance, strategic alignment, and pipeline impact.

Who This Role Is For

You will thrive in this role if you:

  • Believe marketing’s job is to shape buying decisions, not produce activity
  • Think in narratives, sequencing, and belief change
  • Are ABM-minded and naturally prioritize depth of engagement over volume
  • Understand the power of customer proof to accelerate trust and close complex deals
  • Are comfortable pushing back on sales, agencies, or leadership when something doesn’t serve the buyer
  • Prefer focus, clarity, and depth over noise

Qualifications

  • 6–9+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience
  • Proven experience leading integrated, omni-channel campaigns
  • Strong product marketing foundation (positioning, messaging, GTM)
  • Experience running or supporting ABM programs (target account strategy, buying committees, sequencing, personalization)
  • Experience developing customer advocacy assets (case studies, testimonials, references, customer storytelling)
  • Experience directing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, marketing automation, and analytics tools
  • Startup or high-growth experience strongly preferred

  • Bonus based on individual and company performance
