Our state-of-the-art clinics deliver high-quality, episodic care for acute illness and injuries, as well as comprehensive occupational health and workers compensation services. Each location is equipped with an on-site laboratory and in-house X-ray capabilities to ensure timely and efficient care.

AFC Franchising, LLC (AFCF) is the franchising division of American Family Care and serves at the primary liaison between the corporate organization and franchise owners. This division provides operations guidance, strategic support, and performance oversight to ensure consistency, growth, and success across all franchise owned clinics nationwide.

Summary

The Regional Director of Franchise Operations leads the strategic expansion and performance optimization of the urgent care franchise network. This role is responsible for driving market development, supporting new clinic launches, and ensuring franchise partners achieve rapid and sustainable growth. The Regional Director works cross-functionally with operations, marketing, finance, RCM, and clinical leadership to identify growth opportunities, streamline onboarding, and enhance franchisee success throughout all stages of business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute franchise performance strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and brand mission
  • Oversee the successful onboarding and launch of new franchise locations, ensuring operational readiness and performance ramp-up
  • Collaborate with the marketing and development teams to identify high-potential markets and optimize local market entry strategies
  • Monitor new franchise performance, analyzing key metrics such as patient volume, EBITDA, and staffing efficiency to identify improvement opportunities
  • Develop scalable frameworks and tools to guide franchisees, focusing on sustainable growth
  • Work closely with operations and training teams to ensure franchisees have the tools, resources, and knowledge needed to meet performance benchmarks
  • Prepare and deliver quarterly performance and growth business review for executive leadership
  • Maintain strong relationships with franchise owners, providing consultative guidance to maximize revenue, compliance, and patient satisfaction.
  • Represent the brand at franchise and healthcare industry events, promoting system growth and franchise engagement.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in franchising or multi-site healthcare management
  • Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies for emerging or established franchise systems
  • Strong understanding of urgent care operations, including staffing models, patient flow, and profitability drivers
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Experience mentoring and leading high-performing teams across multiple markets
  • Ability to travel for franchise clinic openings, development meetings, and market reviews
  • EMR experience preferred (Experity or other)
