Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven Manufacturing Line Supervisor with strong leadership skills to manage the production assembly technicians in accordance with operating guidelines supporting company objectives regarding product cost, scheduling, timely delivery, and customer requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise production assembly technicians to meet daily production goals
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and safety standards are consistently followed
  • Drive achievement of key performance metrics including productivity, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Partner with Planning and Manufacturing leadership to execute production schedules
  • Identify and resolve production issues using root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
  • Monitor and control departmental spending on supplies, tools, and overtime
  • Train, coach, and develop team members, including goal setting and performance reviews
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen and 5S activities
  • Ensure work orders, documentation, and traceability are completed accurately
  • Collaborate with Quality on nonconformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions
  • Conduct daily shift handoffs and communicate production status and issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager
  • Ensuring all planning activities align with company quality standards, safety procedures, and EROCK Core Values.
Requirements:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher in a technical or operations-related field preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience in manufacturing leadership may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Knowledge of assembly processes and production planning.
  • Knowledge of tool selection, Jigs Fixture, CAD/CAM Software is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Solid organizational, time management, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and application of manufacturing standards and regulations.
  • Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance, general issues
  • Analyze daily labor ticket entry for all work centers & compared to standard routing.
  • Plan for shift schedule for all work centers & do Manpower balancing as per production plan.
  • Effective planning for Operators Leaves. Plan for Overtime & get approval.
  • Ensure traceability is maintained throughout the production process.
  • Ensure work order (Router) sign off is done for every complete operation.
  • Report daily rejection & NCR to quality control personnel.
  • Review daily shift production & update any issues to next shift supervisor.
  • Perform advance tool planning as per production schedule & reduce searching time.
  • Identify Kaizen, 5S & process improvement ideas.
  • Participate in Root cause analysis & corrective action process.
