Job description

A well-established Assisted Living community is seeking a Clerical Coordinator to provide clerical support to ensure efficient Operations and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic team player with the ability to multitask, trouble shoot and support Departments.

Qualifications:

· Prior experience in same or similar role.

· Strong attention to detail and problem solving

· Must be able to communicate clearly and proficiently.

· Ability to work with senior population

· Skilled with time management and data entry.

· Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office

· OSHA-MSDS sheets and procedures a plus

Responsibilities:

· Send management daily, the shift supervisor reports and checklist

· Process payments

· Clerical duties including filing

· Create and maintain Admissions charts and medical charts

· Assist Executive Director and Wellness Director with other administrative and clerical tasks as needed.

Working Conditions:

· Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.

· Requires frequent bending, reaching, and stooping to retrieve and file documents in both low and high file cabinets.

· Must be able to lift and carry file boxes or office materials up 10 pounds.

· Repetitive hand and wrist motions may be required for filing, data entry, and handling paperwork.

· Emergency Response: Must be prepared to handle emergency situations, such as contacting emergency services or notifying appropriate staff in case of an emergency or security concern

· Must be able to verbally and physically, deter residents that are an elopement risk from leaving the facility

· Must be able to follow residents on grass or uneven surfaces to attempt to prevent resident elopements and ensure resident safety.
