Job description

Business Development Capture Manager

Reports To:  Business Development Executive

Location:  Colorado Springs, Colorado (On-Site)

The Capture Manager is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and pursuing strategic growth opportunities across the Department of Defense and Federal Government marketplace. This position develops and executes capture strategies designed to increase win probability and expand Maytag Aircraft's capabilities and market presence.

The successful candidate will possess a proven record of business development and capture success within the defense contracting industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

         Identify and qualify new business opportunities.

         Develop and execute capture plans and win strategies.

         Conduct customer, competitor, and market assessments.

         Lead opportunity gate reviews and qualification activities.

         Develop teaming strategies and coordinate partner relationships.

         Conduct Black Hat reviews and Price-to-Win assessments.

         Maintain customer relationships and industry contacts.

         Support proposal development and transition activities.

         Maintain opportunity forecasts and pipeline reports.

         Participate in industry conferences, customer engagements, and strategic planning activities.

Qualifications

         Bachelor's degree preferred.

         Minimum of seven (7) years of business development and capture experience within a government or defense contracting environment.

         Experience supporting Department of Defense and Federal Government customers required.

         Strong understanding of FAR and DFARS acquisition processes.

         Demonstrated history of successful capture efforts and contract wins.

         Experience with GovWin and CRM systems preferred.

         Existing relationships within DoD, DLA Energy, Air Force, Army, Navy, or defense support markets highly desirable.

         Ability to travel as required.
