Business Development/Capture Manager

Command Post Technologies, Inc. ("CPT") is seeking a Business Development/Capture Manager to lead capture efforts on strategically important opportunities while contributing to pipeline development initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive the entire capture lifecycle from opportunity identification through proposal submission, ensuring the highest probability of win (Pwin) for targeted pursuits. Critical to this role is the ability to develop and oversee the required steps for targeted opportunities as well as succinct reporting on progress towards stated business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead capture planning and execution for strategically selected opportunities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive capture strategies aligned with company strategic objectives
  • Conduct competitive intelligence analysis and develop discriminating win strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with key government decision-makers, program managers, and end users
  • Attend industry days, agency outreach events, and networking functions
  • Orchestrate solution development with technical teams, pricing specialists, and executive leadership
  • Manage teaming partner identification, evaluation, and relationship development
  • Create compelling win themes, value propositions, and proof points tailored to customer hot buttons
  • Facilitate customer calls, site visits, and capability briefings during pre-RFP engagement
  • Maintain detailed capture documentation including customer intelligence, competitor analysis, and capture plans
  • Partner with proposal teams to develop compelling and compliant proposals
  • Actively participate in the identification and qualification of new business opportunities aligned with company capabilities and strategic direction
  • Maintain awareness of contract vehicles, GWACs, and IDIQs relevant to company capabilities

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Industry (Federal Contractor) experience in business development and capture
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related subject
  • Experience with GovWin, Sam.Gov, and other government contracting search tools
  • Available to travel up to 25% per month within CONUS.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Small Business
  • Shipley (or equivalent) trained as a Capture Manager

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold (or be eligible to hold) a security clearance at the Secret level or above. US Citizenship is a requirement.
