Inside Fastener Sales Rep
Shift: Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm
As an Inside fastener sales representative, you will be working and communicating with multiple outside sales reps and customers to source product, generate quotes and orders that meet customer needs. Effectively use the internet and supplier web sites to source non-stock items. Follow up on open orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties (may include but not limited to):
  • Assisting Outside Sales Reps with quotes and orders ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and follow up in a friendly, professional and timely manner
  • Use the internet, customer catalogs and web sites to effectively source new suppliers and products as needed.
  • Review open orders for potential supply chain issues.
  • Review inventory levels at all branches within the sales region and make appropriate product transfers to replenish stock or communicate with purchasing regarding product needs or overstock of inventory.
  • Review and process incoming mobile orders, emails, phone calls and text messages to create customer quotes and orders.
  • Provide solutions and product recommendations that fit the customer's needs.
  • Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
  • Appropriately communicate the various Echo divisions and broader capabilities to customers as needed.
  • Submit expense records/documents in a timely manner.
  • Inform the Warehouse Manager of in-house inventory discrepancies and unusually large orders and other customer special requirements.
  • Work with suppliers to submit, track and return tool repairs.
  • Occasional help with purchasing product through various suppliers.
  • Assist store front counter staff with fastener questions and orders.

Qualifications:
  • Bright, energetic professional with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, CRM / Database systems.
  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Superior time-management and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must occasionally lift, carry or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Business, Marketing, or Industrial Distribution experience preferred, minimum of 2-3 years B2B Sales experience with related products preferred but not required.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial or construction environments is a plus.
