Premier specialty distributor of building materials in North America, is seeking a dynamic Product Manager. Elevate your career by leading the charge in identifying and developing ancillary products, driving revenue growth in specified markets, and executing a winning territory plan. Position Snapshot:


  • Spearhead the specialty product roadmap, defining and executing the divisional strategy.
  • Uncover new opportunities beyond our existing product lines.
  • Provide strategic sales and marketing guidance to your team, establishing Regional Champions.
  • Take ownership as the Specialty Products liaison in the Central Division, driving implementation, evaluation, and development of the specialty sales platform.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of the specialty product line, from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Stay ahead of market requirements through ongoing research and customer interactions.
  • Develop pricing strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals.
  • Contribute to purchasing strategies for enhanced sales and profit performance.
  • Collaborate with vendors and explore exclusive agreements.
  • Present face-to-face demos to sales teams and target customers.
  • Drive action plans, identify sales leads, and incorporate technology to achieve goals.
  • Demonstrate a self-managing, proactive attitude with excellent communication skills.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years in tool or fastener sales
  • Proven management experience.
  • Business Degree in Sales and Marketing preferred.
  • Self-starter with a track record of working independently.
  • Exceptional qualifying and prospecting skills.
