Job Title: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - Telehealth Psychiatric Medication Management for Foster Youth and Outpatient Clients, biweekly Thursdays, 5:30pm-7:00pm



Location:Eagle Quest, 3680 N. Rancho Drive, Las Vegas, NV, 89130 (services done via Telehealth video calls)


About Us:Eagle Quest is a behavioral healthcare agency dedicated to serving the mental health needs of youth in foster care and the community of Southern Nevada. We provide psychotherapy, intensive in-home foster care services, case management, and other services necessary for quality care.


Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to prescribe psychiatric medication for youth in foster care. The ideal candidate will have experience in psychiatric medication management and a passion for working with children and adolescents. This position's days and hours are biweekly Thursday evenings, 5:30-7:00pm. This is a great schedule to supplement your practice and help youth in foster care. Our clients are primarily youth in foster care, but you may serve adults and youth not in the foster system as well.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric medication management services to youth and adult clients via telehealth.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and corresponding treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Eagle Quest policies.


Qualifications:

  • Current APRN license in Nevada.
  • Certification in psychiatric-mental health nursing (PMHNP) preferred.
  • Experience in prescribing psychiatric medication for children and adolescents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including with youth and families via video calls.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, especially with DFS Nurse Case Management.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to youth in foster care.
