Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) – Family Practice

Location: Wauchula, FL
Reports To: Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

We are seeking an APRN with a strong background in family practice to join our team! This position qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) and may include up to $75,000 in student loan repayment for a two-year commitment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Compensation: Up to $120,000 based on experience
  • New Grad Compensation: $90,000 starting with a $5,000 increase at 6 months
  • NHSC Program: Up to $75,000 for a two-year commitment
  • PSLF Eligibility: Forgiveness after 120 qualifying monthly payments
  • Relocation Assistance: $1,000 (in-state) or $3,000 (out-of-state)
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy plans (eligible after 90 days)
  • Employer-paid life insurance (1x salary) & long-term disability
  • Malpractice insurance provided

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bilingual English and Spanish required
  • Graduate of an accredited APRN program
  • Minimum of 5 year of experience as a practicing NP
  • Clear and active Florida APRN license (or ability to obtain before start date)
  • National certification (ANCC and/or AANP)
  • BLS certification
  • Eligible for malpractice insurability
  • Strong computer and EMR literacy
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team-based setting

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive family practice care across the lifespan in an outpatient setting
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions; prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
  • Review lab, imaging, and diagnostic reports; document findings and ensure follow-up care
  • Ensure proper coding and billing practices aligned with documented care
  • Deliver patient education and health counseling
  • Facilitate referrals in coordination with nurses and referral clerks
  • Participate in outreach, off-site programs, and health collaboratives
  • Assist in clinical supply/equipment recommendations
