Join the University Orthopedic Care Team as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse!

Are you detail-oriented, passionate about patient care, and looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic organization? We are seeking a dedicated APRN to join our team and help ensure

the accuracy and integrity of our practice.

About the Role: The APRN provides patient care under the direction of the Neurologist or Medical Director. The APRN abides by the policies and procedures and rules and regulations of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

โ€ข Evaluates medical treatment for all patients under the supervision of a Medical Director of staff Physician.

โ€ข Collaborates with others to discuss Performance Improvement findings, problems, and service issues as necessary.

โ€ข Develops and implements action plans as needed to correct problems or issues defined.

โ€ข Works collaboratively with the facility staff, physicians, and allied staff.

โ€ข Assist in periodic review and revision of policies, procedures, rules and regulations.

โ€ข Complies with required hours in accordance with contract agreement.

โ€ข Abides by all safety/risk, infection control, and other guidelines as required.

โ€ข Assists in ensuring State and Federal regulations and JCAHO standards are met and maintained.

โ€ข Completes all other duties as assigned.

โ€ข Integrity: You handle patient documentation responsibly and maintain confidentiality.

โ€ข Strong Communication Skills: Patient and families, as well as attending clinicians and physicians' interaction is a major part of this role. Therefore, having solid verbal and nonverbal communication skills.

โ€ข Tech-Savvy: You have a thorough understanding of Electronic Medical Records system.

โ€ข Comprehensive Knowledge: You understand medical and orthopedic terminology.

โ€ข Regulation Proficiency: You abide by HIPAA and OSHA standards.

โ€ข Experience: A minimum of one-year practical experience preferred, or 3 years' nursing experience accepted.

Qualifications:

โ€ข Licensing is required; Active Medical License in the State of FL

โ€ข Previous work experience as an APRN required. Experience in Orthopedic, Neurology, and Interventional Pain Management.

โ€ข Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
