BROWARD COMMUNITY & FAMILY HEALTH CENTERS, INC.

 

POSITION TITLE:   Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)Floater

  

SUMMARY:  The APRN works as part of the clinic provider team performing a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation, and monitoring the general patient management plan for clinic patients.  The APRN performs these functions under the general supervision of a licensed physician in a primary health care setting.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, a nurse practitioner program recognized by the Board of Nursing or from a program otherwise designated for APRN which has been approved by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Must hold a current Florida RN and APRN license.
  • Must hold current national certification.
  • Ability and willingness to use Electronic Health Records.
  • The ability to relate with warmth and effectiveness to the patients and other health care providers of Broward Community & Family.
  • Must be qualified in Basic Life Support techniques.
  • Personal and professional qualities to work with the staff of the health center in such a manner as to earn their confidence and respect.
