Job description

Solutions Engineer Executive Advisor

Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 740 W. Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308.

Virtual: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Solutions Engineer Executive Advisor is responsible for delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning effort.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Design elegant, innovative cloud-based software solutions involving: configuration of Salesforce, Vlocity and Managed Packages, creation and refinement of complex data models, external integration, business process automation, and other custom functionality.
  • Conduct code reviews, manage upgrades.
  • Coordinate delivery activities between multiple distributed (technically and geographically) teams to ensure delivery of quality product on time.
  • Design, architect, develop, release, operate, and maintain applications and advanced analytics products created from ideas generated within the organization.
  • Implemented customizations.
  • Work with relational databases and data modeling including writing triggers and batch classes and customized queries to avoid governor limits.
  • Develop and customize applications and customized meta-data components like creating custom objects, fields, formula fields, process builders, lightning flows, and validation rules.
  • Direct large technology engagements and participate in projects including ideation, identification, planning and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and production.
  • Manage and deliver components of Business engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large initiatives in the salesforce domain.
  • Perform the role of a counselor and coach; and Mentor and guide Developers and Technical Leads on technical aspects of the Salesforce platform.
  • Design sub-components of larger salesforce application systems, integrate the SFDC with each other, and continuously optimizing the system structure to improve stability and performance.
  • Perform technical design reviews and code reviews and participates in review and decision making for enterprise solutions.
  • Maintain active relationships with customers to determine business requirements, leads requirements gathering meetings and reviews designs with the business.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
  • Nine (9) years of experience in related occupation(s).

Experience Requirements:

  • Nine (9) years of experience in related occupation(s) must include:
    • Nine (9) years of required cloud-based customer relationship management platforms experience.
    • Seven (7) years of Salesforce platform experience, specifically Sales, Service cloud applications.
    • Seven (7) years of experience with Salesforce Architecture, Design, Data Migration, Configuration, Development, Deployment and testing, including unit testing, user acceptance testing and system integration testing.
    • Seven (7) years of experience developing and customizing salesforce applications using Eclipse IDE with Force.com Plug-in and Force.com IDE, authoring Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Triggers, Lightning web components, Vlocity omniscripts, integration procedure, data raptors and customized meta-data components.
    • Seven (7) years of experience with relational databases and data modeling including writing SOQL, SOSL, Aggregate Relationship queries in apex classes, triggers and batch classes and customized queries to optimize performance.
    • Seven (7) years of experience integrating salesforce.com with external applications using web service integration with SOAP, REST salesforce API's and Force.com API and integration middleware including Heroku and Mulesoft.
    • Seven (7) years of experience with data migration to and from salesforce using Apex Data Loader, bulk APIs, other ETL tools including Informatica Cloud and Jitterbit.
    • Seven (7) years of architecture governance experience, making decisions on declarative vs programmatic solutions.
    • Seven (7) years of experience conducting technical design reviews and code reviews.
    • Five (5) years of experience in Vlocity including Vlocity omniscripts, integration procedure, data raptors, Vlocity cards along with environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies;
    • and experience with all of the following DevOps tools: AutoRabit, UCD, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GIT, and Copado.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Salesforce Certified System Architect and Salesforce Certified Application Architect.
