As a Lead Advisor, you will handle all aspects of financial planning and investment management for a segment of our wonderful clients. This includes regular reviews, initiating outreach and resolving incoming client inquiries. You'll be comfortable and confident when interacting with clients to ensure a thorough and robust financial planning experience. Our outstanding operations and administrative team members are responsible for the day to day while you proactively nurture and enhance client relationships. Our investment professionals create, manage and trade the portfolios.

In your new role, you can expect to:

  • Take ownership of financial planning and investment management.
  • Continuously maintain client relationships, understanding their unique circumstances, connections, and interests.
  • Analyze client's income and asset situation; review and update client's financial situation.
  • Develop and present financial planning recommendations and/or alternatives.
  • Take a proactive approach to client service and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, financial products, and regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with other team members to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Occasionally travel to see clients in our Hudson Valley location or in other states.

Qualifications for this opportunity include:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 plus years of experience in the industry and in a financial advising role, including leading meetings, providing proactive financial planning advice and making investment recommendations
  • CFPยฎ required. CFA, CPA, or CIMA preferred.
  • Series 65 or willingness to obtain
  • The ability to build lasting, high trust relationships with clients through exemplary client service
  • Strong analytical background in planning, analysis, research, or another technical discipline. Comfort engaging clients at a deeper level.
