The Consulting Services Manager is a key operational leader within OSV's Consulting Services team. This role combines functional area oversight with hands-on execution, ensuring our onboarding and post-production practices run efficiently, scale effectively, and deliver consistently high-quality customer experiences. You'll be the operational heartbeat of the team-owning delivery, optimizing processes, and enabling consultants to perform at their best. This is a high-impact role for a proactive, detail-oriented, people centric leader who thrives on making things work better, faster, and smarter.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the functional leader for the Consulting Services team, driving consistency, structure, and accountability across the internal team,customer projects and engagements.
  • Cultivates a high-performing, motivated team culture by setting a compelling direction, leading by example, and empowering individuals to grow, resulting in measurable improvements in team cohesion, morale, and performance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Services Consulting leadership, contributing to strategic planning and execution.
  • Build and continuously improve delivery frameworks, onboarding playbooks, and internal workflows.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and lead initiatives to streamline operations and enhance scalability.
  • Own the tracking and reporting, and improvment of key metrics: utilization, delivery timelines, project health, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with the PMO and other Services Consulting teams to ensure seamless delivery of strategic and complex projects.
  • Develop and review dashboards and reports that inform leadership decisions and drive team performance.
  • Conduct post-engagement reviews to capture lessons learned and feed continuous improvement.
  • Manage resource allocation across active and upcoming projects, balancing team capacity with business demand.
  • Maintain visibility into team bandwidth and proactively flag risks or gaps.
  • Influence and optimize project management platforms and other tools used by the Consulting Services teams.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems, enabling reliable reporting and forecasting.
  • Train team members on services, tools, and processes, and serve as the go-to expert for operational support.
  • Represent the consulting team in internal operational forums and initiatives.
  • Participate in Projects as a Project Manager, Engagement Leader, Service Consultant or Executive Sponsor to support our teams and customers.

Qualifications

Education/Certification Requirement

Bachelor's degree

Required

3-5 years of experience in operations, consulting delivery, or project/program management.

Proven ability to lead operational initiatives while executing tactically.

Strong analytical skills with experience in performance reporting and data visualization.

Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in a SaaS or enterprise services environment preferred.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Preferred

Prior or current Workday certification.

Knowledge of Payroll, Tax, and Benefits.
