Arts Bonita is seeking a dependable and energetic Event and Facilities Associate / Stagehand Support team member to assist with facility operations, live events, performances, and day-to-day venue needs at the Visual Arts Campus and Performing Arts Campus. This part-time hourly position supports event setup and breakdown, basic stagehand duties, artist and band load-ins/load-outs, patron services, bar/concessions, and post-event venue cleaning.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment. This position requires physical work, excellent customer service, and availability for evenings, late nights, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Part time,  $15–$17 per hour
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with setup and breakdown of events, performances, receptions, classes, and special programs.
  • Arrange tables, chairs, staging, signage, and other event-related equipment as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of theaters, classrooms, lobbies, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
  • Perform post-event cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, and resetting venues for the next day’s activities.
  • Monitor facilities during events and respond to operational needs as they arise.
  • Assist with basic maintenance tasks and report facility issues requiring repair.
  • Support staff, instructors, artists, volunteers, renters, and patrons to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and facility policies.
  • Operate equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
Schedule Requirements:
This position requires a flexible schedule that includes daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday hours as needed. Regular responsibilities include remaining on-site after performances and events to complete venue cleanup and facility reset procedures. Late evening hours are frequently required, particularly following concerts, theater productions, receptions, and special events. Availability on Saturdays and Sundays is essential.
Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, moving equipment, standing for extended periods, and performing cleaning duties.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
