Home to NASCAR's Championship Weekend, Phoenix Raceway has been the premier motorsports venue in the Southwest since 1964 and hosts two NASCAR race weekends each year. In March, the Shriners Children's 500 NASCAR Weekend kicks off the race season at Phoenix Raceway, featuring the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and ARCA Menards Series. In November, champions will be crowned in the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series West. Phoenix Raceway also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including corporate meetings and conferences, charity events, holiday events, sport and endurance competitions, driving schools and Segway tours.
Position Purpose
This position will support the Phoenix Raceway branded Show Car and/or Pace Car at Phoenix Raceway public appearances as a member of the ZoomCrew Event Team. Representatives will credibly and responsibly represent oneself as the face of Phoenix Raceway to current and prospective customers. This is a temporary seasonal position and hours will be dependent on the appearance schedule.
Responsibilities/ Duties/ Functions/ Tasks
  • Transport the Show Car Hauler to and from a variety of events
  • Assist in the set up and tear down of the display, including loading and unloading of the Show Car in and out of the hauler
  • Ensure the car is clean and properly on display at events
  • Actively collect prospects for future email campaigns
  • Be an expert on the products and services offered by Phoenix Raceway
  • Assist with a variety of Event Experience activations on March and/or November race weekends
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
  • Currently living in Arizona
  • Post high school education required or equivalent experience

  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Special Position Requirements
  • May require some out-of-town travel
  • CDL Licensed

The ShowCar is a fully-functional NASCAR Stock Car which appears throughout the state sixty to one-hundred times annually. The program includes the ShowCar, promotional giveaways, interactive games, and ability to prospect. ZoomCrew members are expected to show up early to help with setup and stay after events for tear down. The position requires you to have a means of transportation to events; they are primarily throughout the Valley but in some instances statewide. The ideal applicant will be sales driven, a people-person, on-time, hard-working, and eager to learn the sport of NASCAR.
