Logistics Coordinator - JLL

What this job involves:

Join JLL as a Logistics Coordinator and become a key player in managing complex, multi-phase logistics projects for our global client operations. This dynamic role is perfect for organized, detail-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at coordinating international shipping, warehouse operations, and event logistics across multiple locations worldwide. You'll manage end-to-end logistics processes-from project planning and vendor coordination to inventory control and international shipping compliance-ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. This position offers exciting opportunities to travel globally, supporting 5-6 different events annually while working with executive-level clients and cross-functional teams. Your strong project management skills and proactive approach will be essential in meeting tight deadlines, managing budgets, and delivering exceptional results that exceed client expectations.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage multiple logistics projects simultaneously across various phases of development, ensuring on-time execution, data accuracy, and clear client communications
  • Coordinate international shipping operations, including ATA Carnet documentation and customs processes for equipment moving between countries
  • Develop comprehensive project scopes and schedules for assigned logistics initiatives; track milestones and report status regularly to Operations Manager and clients
  • Participate in warehouse operations including inventory control, forklift operation, and physical handling of materials up to 40 pounds
  • Work with teammates and coordinate activities of external vendors (shipping partners, tradeshow partners, logistics/storage providers) to meet project goals and compliance requirements
  • Prepare and update project status reports, process purchase orders and invoices, maintain tracking reports, and manage files for due diligence and financials
  • Travel to support 5-6 events annually at various locations worldwide, providing hands-on logistics management and oversight from event setup through completion
  • Apply project management skills during client interactions to understand needs, develop goals, and create actionable scopes of work
  • Document all daily, weekly, and monthly project milestones and provide proactive updates on project-related issues
  • Demonstrate full accountability for end-to-end project management, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery that meets both client and company standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in logistics coordination, warehouse operations, or inventory control
  • 2-3 years of experience with project management and hands-on warehouse inventory control/logistics operations
  • International shipping experience required - must have working knowledge of cross-border logistics, customs documentation, and compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email portals
  • Understanding of inventory control processes and general warehouse operations
  • Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Flexibility with work hours and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support events worldwide
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer interaction skills with ability to communicate effectively with executive-level clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ATA Carnet experience - familiarity with temporary export/import processes for equipment and materials
  • Forklift (industrial truck) certification in both sit down and stand up variants
  • Bilingual capabilities (English required; additional languages a plus)
  • Project management experience in trade show operations, event logistics, and global supply chain coordination
  • Experience managing logistics for multiple events across different geographic locations
  • Advanced knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs brokerage, and temporary import/export procedures
  • Demonstrated success coordinating event-to-event logistics with seamless transitions between global venues
  • Strong vendor management experience with shipping partners and logistics providers.

Work Shift:Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Salary/Comp:$72,000 - $75,000 annually + annual target bonus

Estimated compensation for this position:

70,000.00 - 75,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
