What You'll Do:

We're seeking an experienced Marketing Event Strategist to help design, plan, and execute advisorfocused marketing initiatives across the West Coast and Rocky Mountain regions. This role blends strategic thinking with strong projectmanagement skills to deliver highimpact, multichannel marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate can translate business goals into integrated marketing strategies that reach clients and prospects across key touchpoints. Experience in experiential marketing-especially within highend financial services or luxury sectors-is strongly preferred.

You'll work closely with regional leadership to bring marketing strategies to life and support advisors in deepening relationships and driving growth.

Responsibilities

  • Form deep partnerships with advisors and create multichannel marketing strategies aligned with advisors' business targets and priority demographics
  • Create exceptional experiences for our clients across key audiences/verticals
  • Work collaboratively across teams and departments with an ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously (strong organizational skills required)
  • Oversee execution of FA strategies, understanding the needs and wants of their target audiences to deliver memorable experiences
  • Serve as a project manager, executor and leader for office-wide activities including office campaigns, events, forums, partnerships, and digital activities
  • Partner with Events Agency (IPE) and advisor's client servicing team on execution of events and activities
  • Be accountable for all budget management related to advisor marketing strategies within defined cohort
  • Demonstrate the benefit of crafting an integrated communications plan (inclusive of events, direct response (email), social media & network/influence communities), connecting advisors with training and resources as appropriate
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for innovation by leveraging existing technology, driving process improvement, and staying current on industry trends and best practices
  • Partner with training team for advisors currently in training programs to ensure alignment of training, partnership, and priorities and support ongoing internal training for advisors as needed:
    • Efficiency/best practice workshops (in partnership with Marketing Technology/Data colleagues)
    • Marketing toolkit implementation workshops (in partnership with Marketing Strategy, Creative, Social Media, Comms & Partnerships, etc.)
  • Work with advisors on goal setting, KPIs reporting on the effectiveness of all activities, inclusive of budget management as needed. Collaborate with Data team to make the best data-driven decisions for the future.
  • Manage the general administration of internal/external mailings, invitations, and other communications
  • Manage and develop one direct report

What We're Looking For:

  • 5-7+ years previous experience in a marketing or event planning role
  • Demonstrate an ability to prioritize and execute on multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and team members
  • Innovative thinking to create unique and memorable event experiences
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly
  • Ability to quickly address and resolve issues that arise during the planning and execution phases
  • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is strongly preferred
  • Salesforce and Pardot knowledge are a plus
  • Some regional travel will be required

In accordance with applicable law, the minimum and maximum base annual salary for this role is as follows:

Base Salary Range: $110,000 to $130,000.

Actual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base salary is just one component of total compensation at AB, which may include, depending on eligibility, commissions, year-end incentive compensation, short- and long-term incentives and Department-specific awards. In addition AB provides a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, sick and vacation time off.
