Job description

About the Role

We are looking for an Event & Experience Strategist to join our Human Resources team in our Atlanta, GA office. This is a full-time, in-person position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end strategy and execution of in-person corporate meetings and training events (approximately five mid-sized events annually plus periodic enterprise-wide programs).
  • Develop and maintain a long-term event roadmap aligned with business and employee experience priorities.
  • Design engaging participant journeys that enhance learning, connection, and clarity of message.
  • Build and manage trusted vendor partnerships (venues, production, AV, travel, catering, facilitators, technology).
  • Negotiate contracts and oversee budgets, timelines, run-of-show, and on-site execution.
  • Create scalable processes, templates, and playbooks to ensure consistency and operational excellence.
  • Serve as the accountable leader for assigned events, guiding stakeholders and resolving issues in real time.
  • Define success metrics, gather feedback, and continuously improve event design and delivery.
  • Stay current on industry trends and bring forward innovative ideas.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or event certifications preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience leading corporate events, conferences, or large-scale internal training programs.
  • Experience managing events ranging from 200 to 2,000+ participants.
  • Strong project management, vendor negotiation, and budget oversight skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to support event execution.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting HR, Talent Development, or workforce learning initiatives.
  • Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or similarly distributed workforces.
  • Experience leading modernization or transformation of an organization's event strategy.
