Part-Time Human Resources Assistant

Schedule: Part-Time (25 hours per week)

Pay: $20.00 per hour

We're seeking an organized, dependable, and friendly Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in delivering an outstanding employee experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build a career in Human Resources.

As an HR Assistant, you'll play an important role in welcoming new employees, supporting onboarding activities, maintaining inventory, and providing administrative support to the HR team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure employees have a positive onboarding experience.
  • Prepare and send welcome letters and new hire communications.
  • Maintain and organize uniform and office supply inventories
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries professionally.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department.
  • Serve as backup support for onboarding activities when needed.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.
  • Support additional HR projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous administrative, customer service, or HR experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Positive attitude with strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
