Job Description:
HPE CloudOps is seeking an experienced enterprise software sales professional to help drive adoption of the HPE CloudOps Software Suite, including HPE Morpheus and HPE OpsRamp. This role is focused on helping some of HPE's largest enterprise customers modernize IT operations through hybrid cloud management, observability, automation, virtualization, and infrastructure management solutions.
As a Sales Specialist, you will partner closely with HPE Account Executives to develop strategic opportunities, navigate complex enterprise sales cycles, and deliver business outcomes for customers across a variety of industries. Success in this role requires a consultative sales approach, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to engage both executive and technical stakeholders throughout the buying process.
This is an opportunity to work with a growing CloudOps organization at HPE, selling innovative software solutions that help enterprise customers simplify operations, accelerate cloud transformation, and optimize modern IT environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive full-cycle enterprise software sales for the HPE CloudOps Software Suite, including HPE OpsRamp and HPE Morpheus, from pipeline development through close.
  • Partner with HPE Account Executives to identify, qualify, and develop strategic opportunities within large enterprise accounts.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive and technical stakeholders, including CIOs, IT Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, and IT Operations leaders.
  • Lead consultative, value-based sales conversations by aligning CloudOps solutions to customers' business objectives, operational challenges, and modernization initiatives.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans focused on HPE's largest enterprise customers across assigned industries and geographic regions.
  • Position the HPE CloudOps Software Suite against competitive cloud management, virtualization, observability, and infrastructure software solutions.
  • Collaborate with presales, technical, services, and partner teams to deliver successful customer outcomes throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintain expertise in hybrid cloud, virtualization, cloud management, infrastructure software, and emerging enterprise technologies to effectively position HPE CloudOps solutions.
  • Build pipeline, manage complex enterprise opportunities, and consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to develop customer relationships and support strategic sales opportunities.

Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a proven track record of selling complex technology solutions into large enterprise organizations.
  • Experience selling SaaS, hybrid cloud, virtualization, infrastructure software, cloud management, observability, AIOps, IT Operations Management (ITOM), or related enterprise platform solutions.
  • Demonstrated success managing long, consultative enterprise sales cycles with executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding multi-million-dollar annual sales quotas.
  • Experience selling into Fortune 1000 or other large enterprise accounts is highly preferred.
  • Reside in the Boston metropolitan area or a surrounding state, with the ability to travel approximately 50% throughout the assigned territory.
