Distributor Sales Representative – Joplin, MOReady to take your sales career to the next level?

Ben E. Keith is looking for a driven, energetic Distributor Sales Representative to grow our foodservice business. In this role, you’ll build strong customer relationships, uncover new sales opportunities, and help foodservice establishments keep the products and supplies they need to succeed.

What You’ll Do
  • Build Customer Relationships: Travel throughout your assigned territory to visit customers, understand their needs, and make sure they have the food products and supplies they need.
  • Grow the Business: Identify and pursue new customers by researching local businesses, directories, newspapers, and other sources to develop strong sales leads.
  • Drive Sales: Manage daily sales activities, follow up on opportunities, and consistently work toward—and exceed—sales goals.
  • Be a Trusted Partner: Deliver excellent service while helping customers find the right products and solutions for their businesses.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred, or equivalent sales experience
  • At least 3 years of foodservice sales experience, preferably selling to restaurants for a major foodservice distributor
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability and willingness to learn and use internal business applications
  • Comfortable working with numbers, including sales, commissions, discounts, and volume calculations
  • Valid driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • No DUI convictions within the past 3 years
