Job description

About the Role

We're looking for a relationship-driven sales professional to own and grow our New York City metro territory, covering independent K-12 schools, spirit shops, and campus bookstores across Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island. This is a well-established, low-mileage territory built around some of the most respected private and independent schools in the region — including Trinity School, The Chapin School, The Dalton School, and The Juilliard Store.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who thrives on relationship-building, territory planning, and turning a strong existing account base into meaningful year-over-year growth — without a heavy travel or overnight-trip requirement.

Your Impact

●        Become a go-to expert on L2 Brands' product lines — League, Legacy, Ouray, and Locale — including best sellers, key features, and recommendations tailored to each school's community.

●        Confidently present our design library, decoration options, and sales tools to help customers envision the perfect product lineup for their bookstore or spirit shop.

●        Manage and grow an existing book of business across the NYC boroughs, with a focus on deepening relationships and increasing share of wallet.

●        Research and identify new target accounts in the territory — independent schools, campus stores, and spirit shops not yet in the L2 Brands family.

●        Secure in-person appointments and close sales orders; visit or connect with every account at least once per quarter.

●        Maintain and manage a company-provided sample line including apparel, headwear, and home décor.

●        Track and manage all customer communication and strategy in HubSpot, L2's CRM system.

●        Attend regional trade shows and industry events to support and grow territory sales.

●        Meet or exceed sales goals developed in partnership with the EVP of Sales.

What We're Looking For

●        Prior sales experience, ideally in apparel, collegiate/scholastic products, promotional products, or a related B2B relationship-sales environment.

●        Based in the NYC metro area, with the ability to travel locally throughout the five boroughs.

●        Strong relationship-building skills — listens actively, asks the right questions, and responds to objections with confidence rather than pressure.

●        Comfortable managing a territory independently, with the discipline to plan efficient visit schedules across a geographically dense but high-traffic region.

●        Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot experience a plus).

●        Passion for the schools, brands, and communities this territory serves.

L2 Brands is an equal opportunity employer.
