Job description

We are looking for an Outside Territory Sales Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. As an Outside Territory Sales Manager with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through market development, building customer relationships, and strategic sales execution. This role works closely with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality service.

About the Role 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategies to grow sales in public, commercial, and residential markets.
  • Maintain strong industry relationships and represent the company at industry events.
  • Monitor market conditions, pricing, and competitor activity; provide regular reporting to management.
  • Prepare and follow up on bids, proposals, and contracts.
  • Oversee the sales process from project identification through completion.
  • Provide education in product knowledge, customer service, and sales execution.
  • Support quality, logistics, and plant teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Assist with collections and customer account management.
  • Provide accurate forecasts, sales reports, and expense reporting.
About You
We Require:
  • Must be able to demonstrate teamwork and ethical work habits.
  • Construction Materials, Cement or Ready Mix background preferred. 
  • Must be able to maintain composure under stressful situations.
  • Ability to received, apply and improve based on feedback of performance. 
  • Ability to gain information on market pricing trends through relationships with customers.
  • Possessing intermediate to advanced computer skills are a must as there will be bidding and entering customer pricing data.
  • Basic Microsoft office product knowledge, CRM knowledge preferred. 
  • Geographical knowledge of the specified of territory is desired.
  • Active Drivers License is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or Communications preferred. 
  • 2-5 years relevant industry experience preferred.
