Job description

The Regional Sales Associate for Oregon and Washington will be responsible for the sales within this designated area. The Regional Sales Associate will oversee sales within the region through agency partners and direct sales.


Regional Sales Associate will be crucial to FNP expanding its agency/broker network in the Pacific Northwest to increase opportunities for new sales in high-cost markets, OR & WA


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the develop of regional sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue objectives within their market through agency partnerships and direct sales.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key partners (agents), clients, and nonprofit industry stakeholders.
  • Assist agency partners with sales and marketing of Unemployment Insurance (UI) Programs and ancillary products to help them expand their books of business in the nonprofit sector.
  • Assist agency partners at point of sale from data collection through underwriting process to sales presentation to client onboarding.
  • Support existing and new clients within UI Programs with and customer issues up to and through the renewal process.
  • Collaborate with marketing, Third Party Administrators, and operations teams to support sales and client relation initiatives.
  • Present webinars and in person sessions to individuals and groups as needed.
  • Attend client meetings or events, agent trainings or events, and conferences both local and national as needed.
  • Travel will be required up to but not limited to 30% of the time.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (required) in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred (but not required)
  • Sales experience (2+ years) in B2B sales preferred, or 2 years of forward-facing client services.
  • Proactive "self-starter" who can manage their own calendar, set goals, and drive their own activity
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Public speaking experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute on goals
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in collaborative environments.
