Job description

Position Overview

C&M Forwarding is seeking anย entry-level Regional Sales Associateย to support ourย LTL transportation and warehousing operations, while developing into a futureย outside sales professional. This role is designed for individuals who want to learn logistics from the ground upโ€”combining customer service, inside sales support, and hands-on operational exposure.

You will work closely withย operations, warehouse leadership, and veteran sales representatives, gaining real-world experience across transportation and warehousing. As skills and confidence grow, so doesย customer ownership, decision-making authority, and autonomy.


Key Responsibilities

ยท Support LTL and partial truckload freight activity, including quoting, pricing support, and order entry

ยท Assist with warehouse-related customer service, including inbound receipts, storage coordination, inventory inquiries, and outbound order releases

ยท Serve as a primary customer contact for transportation and warehousing programs

ยท Coordinate daily shipments with carriers and internal warehouse teams to meet service expectations

ยท Track shipments and warehouse orders, providing proactive communication and resolution

ยท Maintain accurate records in CRM, TMS, and WMS platforms

ยท Support freight claims, accessorial review, inventory discrepancies, and service escalations

ยท Identify opportunities to expand customer relationships across C&Mโ€™s transportation and warehouse services


Sales Training & Career Development

ยท Train alongsideย C&Mโ€™s veteran outside sales representativesย through structured mentorship

ยท Shadow customer meetings, facility tours, and sales calls to learn consultative logistics selling

ยท Develop a strong understanding of LTL pricing, warehouse cost structures, and integrated logistics solutions

ยท Progressively take ownership of customer accounts and sales activity based on performance

ยท Earnย increasing autonomy and responsibilityย as operational knowledge and sales skills are acquired

ยท Clear advancement path intoย Outside Sales, Account Management, or Senior Operations roles


Qualifications

ยท Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
