The Distributor Manager drives revenue growth and profitability within the territory by owning distributor performance, alignment, and channel execution-ensuring demand generated in the field is effectively converted into revenue through a strong and well-developed distributor network. This role partners closely with Contractor Account Managers and broader sales resources to align efforts, maximize market coverage, and drive consistent execution, including distributor alignment, inventory investment, and sell-through of key products. The Distributor Manager reinforces a

results-driven approach by influencing field activity, establishing clear priorities, and maintaining strong communication across the territory. Additionally, the role provides ongoing analysis of market conditions and customer performance, delivering actionable insights to inform strategy and optimize growth.

Essential Job Functions

Develop and manage strategic relationships with key distributor partners, ensuring alignment on business objectives, product focus, inventory levels, and sell-through performance across the assigned region

Drive revenue growth and profitability through the distribution channel by executing territory sales plans, achieving annual targets, and expanding market share

Own regional sales planning and performance management, including forecasting, budget oversight, and regular reporting of results, risks, and opportunities

Translate strategy into field execution by aligning with Contractor Account Managers and channel partners to maximize market coverage and conversion of demand into revenue

Identify, develop, and expand channel opportunities, including new distributor relationships and targeted growth initiatives within key segments and accounts

Lead distributor engagement activities, including open houses, training events, and industry trade shows, to promote product adoption and strengthen partner capability

Maintain deep product and application expertise to effectively position Hydro-Rain, B-hyve, Bond, and Husqvarna solutions within the channel

Analyze market conditions, competitive activity, and account performance to inform strategy, adjust plans, and improve business outcomes

Partner with marketing and leadership to communicate field insights and support the development of products, programs, and go-to-market strategies

Manage key distributor accounts and regional programs, ensuring consistent execution, high service levels, and alignment with company initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to align and support others in a way that improves their performance showing sensitivity, tact, and professionalism

Ability to work well with minimal supervision and in a team environment

Ability to find, gather, and collect information or data, evaluate information against a set of standards

Understanding of principles, theories, and practices of sales and marketing

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Minimum 7+ years of experience in external sales in the Green Industry

Minimum 3 years of experience managing the work of others

Valid driver's license

Clean driving record

Preference given to individuals fluent in Spanish

Travel up to 50% of the time
