Job description

Account and Distributor Manager-Georgia
The Account and Distributor Manager manages distributor relationships in major markets developing plans to deliver sustainable and profitable growth for all AC F&S brands. This role will also be responsible for selling and securing incremental opportunities for distributors in select accounts.
Responsible for executing business plans and working with the account team to deliver execution of all account co-op and programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Sales Planning
a. Develop sales plan for the market area with distributor involved by reviewing account plans, S&OP forecasting, and execution expectations.
b. Monitor sales performance weekly and follow up with distributors.
c. Review each month execution and identify good and bad performances.
d. Develop joint plans with distributor partners for market area to deliver the sales and profit objectives.
2. Profitability
a. Review sales data to ensure we are promoting the correct items with the proper price point for the market area
b. Follow up on execution and spend guidelines with distributors to ensure goals are delivered for both parties.
c. Assisting distributor with displays, programs, and create incentives to drive volume
3. Increase Sales
a. Weekly market tours with distributors to identify opportunities.
b. Work with distributors to increase displays for promoted and non-promoted items and encourage warehouses to maintain proper inventory to supply sales force.
c. Seek out new accounts and new distributors as well as increase small bag business for c-stores.
d. Sufficiently train new distributors on the processes of ordering and receiving Wise product as well as how to properly handle issues if any.
4. Manage Accounts / Customer Development
a. Collaborate with accounts to ensure AC F&S is part of their daily business plans.
b. Build strong relationships with key customers to support company initiatives
c. Ensure customer's issues are understood and work to resolve them.
d. This role requires up to 80% travel within Georgia and 20% regional travel across Kentucky, Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
5. Distributors
a. Collaborating with warehouse managers regarding upcoming promotional events and maintaining product to allow reps to sustain POG integrity.
b. Working with distributors to ensure they have the upcoming promotional information and are communicating this to the reps.
c. Discussing service issues with distributor management to resolve current issue and create a plan to prevent future issues.
d. Reviews and planning meetings, when possible, with distributors
e. Build strong relationships with key customers to support company initiatives
f. Ensure customer's issues are understood and work to resolve them.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education: HS degree required, Associate's Degree - Business, Bachelor's degree Communications, Economics, Business preferred
2. Experience: 3 years' CPG experience, 3+ years Field Sales Experience, 3+ years Sales experience. Position requires knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
