Job description

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support across multiple onsite locations in West Palm Beach, Florida. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is confident working in a Windows 11 environment, managing modern endpoint tools, and resolving day-to-day user issues with professionalism and urgency. The role will partner closely with a small desktop engineering team to support ticket-driven operations while contributing to device deployment and endpoint management initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver onsite desktop support for end users across three locations, traveling between sites as needed to address hardware, software, and access-related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents in a ticketing environment, ensuring requests are handled efficiently and escalated appropriately when necessary.
• Administer and support Windows 11 devices, including setup, configuration, imaging, and ongoing troubleshooting.
• Use Intune and related endpoint management tools to manage device policies, enrollments, updates, and overall workstation health.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications and user productivity tools, helping employees remain operational with minimal disruption.
• Work within a hybrid identity environment that includes Active Directory and Entra ID to assist with account, authentication, and device-related support needs.
• Participate in an active Autopilot deployment effort, helping prepare, provision, and support devices during rollout activities.
• Collaborate with desktop engineers and senior team members to maintain consistent support coverage and contribute to service desk operations across all supported sites.• Proven experience providing desktop or help desk support in an onsite enterprise environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of Windows operating systems, with particular experience supporting Windows 11.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management in a modern device environment.
• Experience with Windows imaging, workstation provisioning, and user device lifecycle support.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, service desk workflows, and ticket management processes.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, hybrid identity environments, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Ability to travel between local sites as part of regular support responsibilities.
• Exposure to VMware Horizon or co-managed Intune environments is preferred.
