SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a Visual Imagery Intrusion Detection System (VIIDS) to support an opportunity at Joint Base Andrews, MD.
POSITION OVERVIEW SECTION
The VIIDS Administrator provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for the Linx Predator Elite Intrusion Detection System (LPEIDS) and associated access control and surveillance systems safeguarding Air Force One assets. This role ensures operational readiness, cybersecurity compliance, and sustainment of critical intrusion detection infrastructure within a highly sensitive and secure environment.
The employee shall install, configure, administer, manage, maintain, and update all VIIDS hardware and software components to ensure compliance with all applicable Government and industry standards. The administrator will maintain all relevant documentation on a SharePoint site or similar on-premise tracking system.
Essential Job Functions
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, and repair of LPEIDS hardware and software components.
  • Respond to onsite emergency support requests within one (1) hour of Government notification, including outside normal duty hours, as determined by the Government.
  • Ensure all VIIDS components meet or exceed applicable Government regulations, cybersecurity standards, and industry best practices.
  • Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to test and troubleshoot complex electronic systems.
  • Develop and maintain project planning documentation, network maps/diagrams (static and dynamic), and presentation materials in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Visio.
  • Provide requested documentation within three (3) business days and comply with all required classification guidance.
  • Prepare and submit written monthly status reports detailing repair and maintenance activities in a mutually agreed-upon format.
  • Maintain accountability and configuration control of all system components.
  • Develop and maintain a written disaster recovery plan to ensure rapid restoration of systems in the event of compromise or failure.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and initiate corrective actions as required.
  • Provide hands-on training to shop technicians on system installation, modification, maintenance, and troubleshooting of system components including:
    • Passive Infrared Sensors
    • Microwave Sensors
    • Balanced Magnetic Switches
    • Fiber Optic Fence Sensors
    • Taut Wire Sensors
    • Underground Sensing Systems
    • Active Infrared Sensors
    • CCTV Systems
    • Badging Systems
    • Video Storage and Retrieval Systems

Minimum Position Requirements
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
  • Yankee White eligibility
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in network administration and server management
  • Demonstrated experience with Linx Predator Elite Intrusion Detection System (LPEIDS) or comparable intrusion detection systems
  • IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA, or equivalent)
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, diagrams, and maintenance reports
  • Strong knowledge of DoD cybersecurity regulations and federal compliance standards
  • Ability to respond to emergency calls outside normal duty hours
Minimum Position Requirements
  • Prior experience supporting high-visibility or national-level assets
  • Experience maintaining access control and video storage systems in classified environments
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting capabilities in secure mission environments
